The second Monday of each month, October – May, the ladies of Spokane Women on the Fly get together for a tying event at Hugo’s on the Hill from 6:00pm – 8:30pm. This event is limited to 25 women to ensure that everyone gets some personal time. Mentors will be at each table to help assist as needed. This is a first come first tie basis and you can sign up on EventBrite. A Facebook Event will be created in the SWOTF Private Facebook Group one month prior to the event.
No equipment necessary, if you have your own tools, please bring them. The Spokane Falls TU Chapter only has 10 functional vice and tools available. These are first come first serve. Please let us know right away if you need these. A materials list with tying steps for the fly is sent before the evening. If you just want to come and tie, you have an option of $10 to use all the supplies to twist up as many flies as you can in the evening.
All levels welcome!!! Even if you’ve never tied or fished before, please come. This is a great way to start to learn the entomology.
